Gutsy Girls

We were approached by Aurthur Annecharico and Russ Wiltse to make an show open for a pilot television show they wanted to pitch to the networks. Working within their direction, they wanted this to be a video based animation that showed these girls doing extreme activities. Since this was just a pitch there was no footage to work from. After an extensive search and working out a deal with the stock house we were able to obtain the clips to use. Thanks to Getty Images and Thought Equity for the use of the clips for this pitch.

Another interesting dilemma on this open was to make the open feel more organic and dynamic since we were using stock footage. Instead of creating a spray paint effect within aftereffects we decided to shoot some actual spray paint to make our matte reveals.
